SITE OHIO AUTHENTICATED

In 2015, the BDC partnered with the Van Wert Community Improvement Corporation to achieve a food + beverage certification for the Van Wert Vision Industrial Park on the north side of the City of Van Wert, just south of U.S. Route 30. This certification expands the scope of potential uses for this site. It takes advantage of Van Wert's plentiful water supply. The 37-acre Site Ohio land has all utilities and is eligible for Enterprise tax abatement, New Job Creation Tax Credit, New Market Tax Credit, and Opportunity Zone Programs.

SPECULATIVE BUILDING

The 100,000-square-foot steel building has 32-foot ceilings, 30’ by 66’ column spacing, and 2,500 sf of office space. Completed in 2018, the structure is expandable on a 20-acre lot. The building has an existing tax abatement and is eligible for a New Job Creation Tax Credit, New Market Tax Credit, and Opportunity Zone Programs.

VAN WERT MEGA SITE

The 1550-acre Van Wert Mega Site is a Jobs Ready Certified site adjacent to 4-lane U.S. 30. The ground is used for agriculture, and purchase options are in place. A rail spur abuts the property; excess of 2 million gpd of water and 750,000 gpd of sewer are available. Utility providers are American Electric Power and Dominion Energy.
